Privacy Policy

Lilo: Study Timer & Challenges ("Lilo", "the app") is operated by Pado Apps ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using Lilo you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic account details those services share for authentication.
- Profile information. Your username, display name, avatar and, optionally, your country. You choose these yourself.
- Study and social activity. Study sessions (duration, subjects), streaks, levels, planner tasks, challenges you join or create, rankings, and content you post in the app such as comments and reactions.
- Purchases. Payments are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive your subscription status but never collect or store your payment card details.
- Device data and diagnostics. Device type, operating system version, app version, crash and error reports, and a push notification token if you enable notifications.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and sync the service: your timer, planner, stats, streaks and challenges.
- To power social features such as friends, challenges, rankings and activity feeds.
- To send notifications you have enabled (you can turn them off at any time).
- To keep rankings and challenges fair and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To fix bugs, maintain security and improve the app.
3. What other users can see
Lilo is a social study app. Your username, avatar and study statistics may be visible to other users through rankings, challenges, activity feeds and your profile. Some visibility options can be adjusted in the app's settings.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run Lilo, such as cloud infrastructure, subscription management and error monitoring providers. They process data on our behalf under data protection obligations.
- Apple and Google, which process purchases made through their stores.
- Authorities, if required by law.
5. Data retention and account deletion
You can delete your account directly in the app (Settings). Deletion takes effect immediately: your account is deactivated right away and permanently removed within 30 days. We may retain minimal records where the law requires it.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR if you are in the EEA or UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at lilotimerapp@gmail.com.
7. Children
Lilo is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us personal data without the required consent, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.
9. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure it stays protected in line with this policy and applicable law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this page, and material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
